Refund Policy

This Refund Policy provides clear information on when and how refunds may be requested for registrations to the International Conference on Slope 2026, helping participants understand their options before completing payment.

1. General Policy

All registrations are subject to this Refund Policy. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the timelines and conditions stated herein.

 

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Event cancellation
    In the event that the International Conference on Slope 2026 is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund of the registration fee will be issued.
  • Refund requests before the specified deadline
    Refund requests submitted before the official refund deadline (as announced by the organiser) may be eligible for a partial or full refund, subject to administrative charges.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Failure to attend the event after successful registration
  • Incomplete or late submission of required documents (e.g. LO/PO)
  • Registration cancellations made after the stated refund deadline
  • Change of mind after payment has been completed
  • Visa rejection or travel restrictions beyond the organiser’s control

4. Payment Method Considerations

  • Online Banking (FPX) payments: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used.
  • Purchase Order (PO) / Letter of Order (LO) registrations: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on verified payment records and institutional requirements.

Any bank charges or transaction fees incurred during the refund process may be deducted from the refunded amount.

 

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 14–30 working days, depending on the payment method and banking procedures.

 

6. Substitutions

Participant substitutions may be allowed, subject to approval by the organiser. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing before the event and may be subject to administrative processing.

 

7. Changes to This Policy

The organiser reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the official conference website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
